Ficus Tree Sculpture

The item is made from a single natural tree root, no any glued “piece-together”. It was designed and hand made carving artists. Before carving, the original tree root was processed by using way of fumigation to avoid any change in shape and the problem of insects and worms. Beautiful carved sculpture made from a single ficus tree. This enormous reclaimed ficus root was bleached and left in the sun for over a year. We then carefully sanded each section smooth. Set on a modern black steel stand, 20″ x 30″. The St. Barts Collection features an exciting new line of organic white wash and natural weathered teak furniture. The reclaimed teak is left to bake in the sun and sea salt air for over a year to achieve this unique finish. Select pieces are infused with a brilliant aqua resin that is cracked to achieve a unique quartz crystal effect. The final result evokes imagery of the white sand beaches and brilliant aqua waters of the famous French Caribbean Island.
